EUREKA FACTORY PROJECTE 1770 ST. JOSEPH 2000
70 % of European furniture manufacturers are SME’s. They lack of resources for standard manufacturing, hence, there is a need to develop a real time production management system to enable them to produce agile, just in time and tailor made. In EUREKA Project St.Joseph 2000 a new generation of wood cutting machines developed by the world leader SCM. As a team member of the project, EST Enerji worked on the following topics ;
For EUREKA 1170 St. Joseph Project demo system is developed by SCM composed of three Woodworking Machines and a Quality Control Center. EST developed the Supervisory Software responsible of running the line of production. In order to manage the production, EST developed a set of drivers to communicate bar codes, machines as well as operator driven trolleys to carry processed panels.
For Eureka 1170 St. Joseph Project, SCM developed a Quality Control Center with a Vision System. EST developed the PLC Control of this machine.
EST developed a very fast and stable Optimization Software for New Type of Cutting Machines which can also cut nonrectangular shapes.
PACK 2000 EUREKA PROJECTE 2007
“Development of a flexible and environmentally friendly packaging system utilizing advanced vision and recyclable homogenous materials” project had a budget of 16.9 Euros and the team of research organizations led by AETNA Group (Italy).
6th Frame Project MINIREF
EST Enerji participated MINIREF, a European Union 6th Frame Project. Project aims to drastically (95%) reduce the refrigerant of cooling systems. EST Enerji takes part in development of a novel automation system for the new cooling equipment. Due to the lack of coolant reservoirs, the automation system will be more complex but this design will contribute to the European Union strict rules on environmental protection. Project will end at 2008.
